King Size Mattress – A standard king-size bed comes in at 76 inches wide by 80 inches long. These provide ample sleeping space for couples who like to spread out. The standard king is also known as the Eastern king. King beds often utilize side-by-side box springs rather than one large one known as a split king.
California King Size Bed – A California King mattress is slightly thinner but longer than a regular king. It measures 72 inches wide by 84 inches long. This is a popular mattress size for tall people whose legs hang off beds with king-size bed dimensions.
Alaskan King – This is not quite a standard bed and is difficult to find. It measures 108 inches by 108 inches, allowing you to fit an entire family. You’ll definitely need a large room size for one of these!
